Ladies Night .... @ Eski Bar

went out with my colleagues on Fri night last week.. got the photos finally.. so decided to pen the event down...

went to Eski Bar.. it's a COLDDDDD place... just look at the pics of the glass door and i'm sure u can tell right.. there's 2 sections inside the bar... a relatively small place.. the 1st section is called the "subzero" where it's very very cold there.. think it's almost below zero degree... and there is only 2 pple there drinking.. we stayed there for a while due to absence of tables in the other section.. all of us were in winter clothing... can't stand the cold..in the end, we chose to squeeze with one another in the other section, in a small table...

the other section is warmer.. normal temp abt 11 to 12 degree.. we were still trembling though.. had our sweaters on us through out... it's a nice experience drinking in the cold.. cos alcohol bring us warmth... overall not bad... planned our next outhing at another bar... this time no longer cold but with live band.. we are thinking of another ktv session too... oh my god, we girls are so greedy.. wanna to do so many things =P

decided to move my wedding ticker upward so that i can see it at the latest post....

2 mths, 28 days left to go.. i'm getting excited.. yet at the same time, i feeling all the tension coming in... seems like so many things undone yet.. phew.... i'm sure it'll be a hectic 2 mths 28 days to our BIG DAY =P

Australia.. here we come...

after booking the airfares... dear & i got down to source for hotels.... an execiting experience...

GoldCoast
browse throuh lots & lots of hotels.. finally decided & had booked on Legend Hotel.. it's a 4.5 star hotel... right beside the surfer paradise beach... wrote to the hotel direct to check out the accomodation... guess what.. my staff pass has discount on the published rate.. yoho... per night is less than S$200...

we got a studio apartment.. that is almost half the size of my new upcoming 4room flat... it comes with a kitchenette (fully contained i.e. has all those micro oven etc etc)..a private balcony...a mini bar inside... so excited.. by the way,mine is also one that has the ocean view... image waking up to the morning sun, facing the limitless ocean..so romantic.. yet the industry rate that i'll be getting is only

Melbourne
had just booked the hotel in melbourne too.. same as legend hotel... got a deal same as the legend... this is a 4 star hotel.. px only less than S$200 per night.. hotel known as grand mecure on swanston.. it's in melbourne cbd area... just beside the australia chinatown.. jazz stayed there before and pd abt S$300 per night.. she highly recommended this.. so nothing shld be wrong =P

the room that we booked is reasonable large and the inside is really nice.. the hotel also has a roof top swimming pool.. it's heated too, so just like a jaccuzi kind of things...

plan to be on a lower budget... but dear insisted that something gd shld be for our honeymoon... that's explains the SQ flight and the 4 star hotels... dear.. thank you for adoring me =P

wow wow.. now getting so excited abt the upcoming trip =P... yeah.. less than 3 months to the long awaited wedding and honeymoon =P...

Our Honeymoon in Australia...

3 cheers for me and dear... HIP HIP HURRAY x 3...

yeah... me and dear decided on our our honeymoon destination... after soughting advice and opinions from our colleagues and reading up on travel magazine, we finally decided on going to Gold Coast and Melbourne of Australia.. (plan to go Europe but Nov end is winter and i can't stand cold.. so change of plan.. we'll go Australis this yr and Europe in May next yr...) ours will be a free & easy one... it's also to the extend that we'll book everything on our own via the internet... 1st experience... excited too...

our starting stop will be at Goldcoast (transfer from Brisbane, which is abt 1 to 2 hrs drive away) and then from Gold Coast to Melbourne.... then home sweet home..

today is the day we put our plans into reality.. WE'VE BOOKED OUR AIR TICKETS TO AUSTRALIA... YEAH...=P...... went to SIA website.. decided to take SQ airlines cos dear wanna our honeymoon to be comforty and becos we'll sleeping overnight in the plane... so hope that the large leg space is gd for us.. booked our tickets from SIN to Brisbane and from Melbourne back to SIN... we'll be taking australia domestic flight from Goldcoast to Melbourne on top of Virgin Blue.... 1st time taking the flight.. excited.. we also booked the domestic flight tics already... so excited...

our trip will be abt 10 days... so the next thing on our planner is to look for accomodation... will be busy this few days or few weeks, in search for our accomodation...

so looking forward to the day we make reservation for our hotels.. looking forward to it.. =P

Wedding Preparation...

Had a meet up with June, our wedding consultant from Hilton to finalise a couple of things abt our upcoming wedding... quite satisfied that things r going well...

1. Got June to gave us additional wedding card (on top of the original no that we had)...
2. Chose our free gift (we decided on an ang pao box over the guest book.. cos we'll be getting a guest book from our bridal shop... i very silly, went to ask June if the ang pao box is big enough)
3. Got our mc script (still thinking abt who our mc shld be... hard decision cos need to take precaution against sabotage from our frenzs...)
4. Got our 1st yr anniversary dinner voucher... free buffet dinner at the award winning restaurant at Hilton...not bad huh...
5. decided on our wedding theme... our wedding deco will be having a light purple theme... so romantic...
6. chose our wedding favours... i'm not letting anyone know abt it.. supposed to be a secret =P

there are so many things that we talked abt with June... can't pen all of them down.. the only thing i can say is that the meet up is fruitful...

after the discussion.. dear and I went carreful... we got our swim suits... yeah... they'll be gd for our upcoming trip to gold coast... sun tanning at the beach.. yeah =P

My Little Cousins Visit to Singapore...

Back in old days (few yrs back).... Me & dear are the ones that have been visting my 3rd uncle's place in Kulai (a little down Johor) and also visiting the 3 little ones that my uncle has...but this yr is different...

my wedding is coming up in Nov and my relatives in M'sia are all running up & down to get their passports done... just in the beginning of this month, my 3rd uncle and his family went to get their passport done up.. really appreciate the efforts.. getting a passport in m'sia is not cheap... it costs RM300 per passport (for 5 yrs) for adult and RM150 per passport for kids who have yet to receive their IC... in total.. my uncle spent abt RM1200... 3 adult passport and 2 children passport.. my cousins got their 1st stamp by coming to S'pore to visit us..

me & dear really miss our little cousin, Kexin very much... look at her.. she's so sweet and adorable.. also very gd gal... she's such a happy baby that she will always make me & dear smile for her... we ask her today if she want to be our flower gal... she shyly look away from us.. think she's very very shy... but she's the apple of our eyes... so hope she can be the flower gal for our wedding..

looking to her visit more often now since my uncle drives and kulai is very near to S'pore.. =P

Wedding Food Tasting....

went for our wedding food tasing on Thursday evening with our parents.. viewed the renovated ballroom before the start of the dinner.... the renovated ballroom was nicely done up... though smaller.. but classy.... quite like the feel of it... the swimming pool is intact.. our guests can still see the pool from inside the ballroom due to the glass panel separating the ballroom and pool..

dinner for us was in one of the function room @ 5th floor... ours was the "Brunei" room.. apparently all the function rooms on that level are named after asean countries.. quite fascinated by that..

now to the most impt part... the dinner itself... there is only one word to describe the food... MARVELOUS.... our parents liked the 1st dish-cold plate... the design of the dish is a heart shaped, delicated to the wedding couples...so sweet... this is also one of the few cold dish that i had seen ard in wedding.. other than the cold plate, there are also a couple of dish that is quite special, either in term of appearance or in term of taste.. i liked the mushroom dish and the abalone.. it taste so nice... like mushroom.. there are lots of lots of gd food... look at the big prawns that dear is having... u wanna to try them?? wait till 25nov =P

we met the chef halfway through the meal.. not like the normal chef that i had seen on TV... he's quite funny looking.. but his cooking skill is gd... now i only hoped that the dishes turned out equally nice on my wedding day too =P

Great Weekend - High Achievement....

wore my new skirt (the one that i bought at wu fen pu, Taipei) to wk today... so happy... yeah... decided to take a short break from wk (though i'm quite busy) to post a blog.. gg to talk abt last weekend... it's so eventful, dun talk abt it is a waste.. ha ha ha..

Saturday Night - Conquer Spotlight & Chill Out @ Cafe Cartel...
went to spotlight on Saturday night... were looking for materials to do scrapbooks or anything handicraft for the wedding... and the future babies (too early though.. ha ha ha).. not much wedding thingy left.. mostly baby item.. not sure 1st baby is girl or boy, so din get much stuff too... but bought things to deco my photo album...

had a great chill out session at cafe cartel.. i muz say jovin getting cuter by the days... getting louder too... but all for the delicious waffle.. i muz agree with her.. cafe cartel waffle is really good...

Sunday Early Afternoon - Chiong to Chinatown Point...
Yeah... we finally bought our big big luggage... bought a 30 inch one (in height).. can use it for our australia trip (for honeymoon) and our europe trip (next yr)... bought another hand carry cum roller one... i'm so happy... holi mood coming again... the boss who sell this to us say it's more than enough for the 2 of us.. which means there is room for shopping.... yeah =P

spotted a shop providing wedding wines catering services... had a talk with her... service very very gd... me & dear so impressed... cheap but relatively gd wines... wines on consignment too... see wat i told you dear... shopping is gd.. you'll have surprises.... hee hee hee...

Sunday Late Afternoon - Hard at Work on the Album...
was doing the photo album for Taipei trip while my dear is snoring away... cut and paste cute pics and wording for deco purposes.. it's hard work, man.. by dinner time, had only finished pasting until our 2nd day, at Living Mall... muz jia you jia you... to finish the album... yeah...

Sunday Night - Last Day of Pasar Malam...
went to the local pasar malam opp my hse on Sun... informed lin ling abt it and we created another link up for the hubbies there... i muz say, the hubbies shld really tks the Hello Kitty.. if not for the cute kitty, how the hubbies will meet up so consecutively.. ha ha ha.. so wq shld really take ll to hello kitty land to tks it in person =P ha ha ha...

had great time there.. previously dear bought a doreamon alarm clock cos his is spoilt.. btw, ll also bought a similar one but the cartoon is hello kitty.... i selected a snoopy and doreamon passport holders for the 2 hubbies.. the ultraman cover simply can't make it.. gave jovin to choose one for his daddy... clever jovin, choose the cute one for wq.. ha ha ha... so my dear got the snoopy one... look at the pics.. so cute.. now i've 1 precious moment and dear got a snoopy..

btw, bought some stickers too.. now, i've a collection of cute stickers...ha ha ha.. think dear gonna to faint...

Gift for the Hubbies...

went to the pasar malam at my place on wed night (hee hee hee, apparently the night mkt in taipei is not that sufficient...)

decided to buy gift for wq to "tks" him for trying to kiss my hubby while taking photos... serve him right.. ha ha ha..

plan to get an ultraman.. but even i think it's too cute.. well but if he prefer a cute one.. i can go back and buy one more for him.. ha ha ha..

HUBBIES... next time we go on board for another shopping trip.. rem to use your new passport holder, k.. yeah..

so looking forward to our sat mission... conquer SPOTLIGHT... yeah.... so looking forward to see my scrapbook fall in place =P sweet dreams later.. will be dreaming abt my scrapbooks =P

went to take neo print in taipei... NT100 for 4 poses.. quite cheap...

the 2 hubbies as usual.. pattern more than badminton... posed as andy lau & tony leung in wu jian dao... it's disgusting... face not like them... pose strike also no style... how can be andy lau & tony leung.. hmm.. maybe from the back can lar.. ha ha ha

attempted to ask them to do a series of wu jian dao poses + the japanese 5 posese (1... 2... 3... 4...5...) wow... they'll look so cute.. image andy & tony in japanese mei mei cutie poses... but alas can't find cheap neoprint ard.. too bad.. i muz say the hubbies are real lucky...

Taipei Getaway

YEAH..we finally conquered TAIPEI.. in a short span of 5D4Ns.. muz really appluade us, the ladies for the marvelous shopping... and of course the guys for the sweat they contributed while carrying our shopping bag...

it's a fulfilling trip, i muz say... from the initial 2 luggage to 4... too bad it only double and not triple =P

had lots of makan during these 5 days too... think i also gained some weight.. opps.. muz work out more with my boxing already...

Counting Down To Taipei Trip...

Hurray hurray.. this time tomorrow, we'll be on the airplane... if the plane depart on time at 1pm... we'll be on the air for abt an hr already.... so excited now.. no mood to wk already...

have done all packing yesterday.. brought 1 luggage, 1 half full hand carry bag & 1 extra foldable big bag (for containing shopped items.. hope there'll be a lot...) ... still excited =P... if time permit tonight, me & dear plan to go for a foot massage.. to prepare ourselves for the shopping war.. yeah...

Have been trying my hands on the wedding montage for past few weeks.. came up with the initial draft... uploaded it on the blog as slide show... see below(end of pg) ... haven do it into video format... cos no time to do that.. that will wait.. cos now still looking for cute pics, pics may change too... like i said, this is only 1st draft...so think therew'll be more changes along the way... planning to put in our travel photos for the upcoming trip to Taiwan too...i'll make sure we take lots of cool & nice photos while inTaiwan =P

yeah... 3 more hrs to go before i knocked off... JIA YOU to endure the "hard to pass time"... hee hee hee

Moment of Truth…

The secret was finally out of the bag on Monday Night… Dear came over my place to fetch me & cos dad & mum wanna see how is his injuries… Later sis asked him how he got injured…he slipped his tongue and said he was drunk…. Do you hear me??? HE WAS DRUNK… I stared at him… with the anger accumulating inside… serve him right for getting hurt… old man already, still doesn’t know how to take of himself… at that time, think he dun deserved any sayang and combo (massage) from me….

But atlas… I still gave in… why why why… shld punish him and make him SHOP TILL HE DROP while in Taipei… anyway, shopping only need legs & not hands, so won’t be inflating his wounds… Ha ha ha…

Visited the doc at TTSH A&E Review Clinic again on Tuesday morning…Took an urgent half day leave from my boss… my boss asked me y so urgent take leave… told him that dear was hurt… but couldn’t bring myself to tell him he got drunk & start climbing windows… in the end, ended up telling him he got hurt while in mid of “team building exercise”…ha ha ha.. guess there’s nothing wrong too when I said team building… at least in the context of his colleagues, I guessed… they would have argued that drinking tog and playing tog is an exercise to build teamwork and foster relationship… sigh.. to me, that’s whole load of BULLSHIT…luckily… no serious after effect of dear’s injuries… OR ELSE…SORRIE, I CAN’T IMAGE…

The nurse at TTSH taught me how to change dear’s wound dressing…we going Taiwan, and dear’s wounds need cleaning & change of dressing every 2 days…so I’ll be the nurse for the Taiwan Trip… Under the instruction of the nurse, we bought loads of things from the hospital retail pharmacy to bring to Taiwan.. all for the purposes of changing dear’s wound dressing… but I can tell you… it’s pretty scary, cos dear’s wound is quite bad… I scared of blood… so gotta change the dressing for him is a challenge for him… hope I do a good job…

Lastly, latest update on dear’s injuries…
Left arm and left back: Only exterior abrasion on the surface… no fractures or serious infections
Left arm (pt of injection): 2 days ago, dear is still feeling feverish and his arm is aching and in pain… doc says that’s normal… this morning, dear told me the arm is getting better. HURRAY =P
Left ring finger: Doc can’t close the wound, so only choice is to let it heal by itself.. which will take at least a week… meantime, have to cleanse the wound every 2 days to make sure there is no infection… doc checked his PIG finger on Tuesday morning… commented that the wound is heeling well… YEAH… another HURRAY =P

Hope my dear get well soon… snd then he can wear our wedding band again =P…
