5… 4… 3… 2… 1… My Big Day is Coming…

Times really flies.. in about another 5 days, it’s 25 Nov 2006 (my big day).. can’t feel the excitement.. felt the stress more though…

Guess there’s too many nitty, gritty things that need to be taken care of.. and all those last minutes changes.. sigh.. why can’t all things be confirmed.. stamped and finalized.. pple giving last min changes shld receive penalty.. Am also scared of the new environment that I’ll be in for the next 1 year plus.. though I stayed over at dear place for most of the wkend.. but we were almost out all wkend… now have to stay there every night.. not sure if I can take it…this new family thingy and abt sharing… sigh…it’s not the world of 2 now.. but world of 5.. dear mus really help me get used to it…

Throwing aside the wedding matters.. am looking forward most to the honeymoon… so looking forward to the holidaying.. away from work.. from the stressful regular schedules.. am looking forward to take lots of pictures this time rd.. gg to make into a montage as well as gg to decorate the album with all my newly bought stickers.. ke ke ke.. gonna to share it with everybody after I’m done…

Though I’m still at wk, my heart is no longer here.. I’m practically clearing my stuffs now…handing down to the person who is taking over my duties.. but the co that I’m in is the ABAB kind (Act Blur Act Blur one)… so I reckon that 2 weeks down the road, after I’m back from the honeymoon, things will be status quo… but anyway, I’m not gonna think abt it now anyway… gg to focus.. have full concentration on upcoming wedding as well as my long awaited honeymoon =P

Counting Down to 25/11/2006 & 26/11/2006

Though i'm now at work, but dun really have the working feeling.. cos my Big Day is near.. can't imagine that next saturday is the day... this wkend will be me and dear last wkend as "singles" (though we are legally married...)

weird feeling.. kinda mix for me too... think i'll miss my daddy & mummy... miss my bed at home... miss the "freedom".. and the luxury of calling "mummy", "mei mei" and "ah boy (my bro)" to help me do things...muz learn to grow up and be someone wife + someone daughter in law already...

throwing the weird feeling aside.. am looking forward to my Honeymoon (hee hee.. actually more than my Big Day).. think the big day will be quite stress.. prefer the luxury of going on holiday... having the holidaying mood already... 5 more working days and i'm on leave....

though got wk to do and things to clear.. but i'm really bored and really looking forward to my leave... so i updated my computer properties jus now.. ke ke ke.. did up a new wallpaper with my bday makeover and the pics that were taken at Jovin's bday party... now i'm looking at this everyday till next wed (my last wking day before i go on leave.... ) yeah... 3 cheers for me... =P

Peace of Mind... Finally...

Went to Hilton on Saturday morning to test out their sound system and DVD player.. did up the song disc and the montage already.. hopeful that the hotel can play it...

the audio disc all passed the test... the 1st dvd player that the hotel brought up can't detect my montage disc.. that one is a sony player.. was quite disappointed initially... sob sob.....

hotel assured me and say they have a better dvd player.. this time, they brought up a pioneer player.. yeah... i can see montage on the LCD screen already... so happy =P...told dear that from now on, i'll try to be a pioneer supported....

met our event manager for the 1st time too.. Leslie... a nice guy.. very experienced too... guess, with him around, we shldn't have any more concerns =P

after the trial run at hilton, time is still early and as we are already in orchard, we might as well shop around...

went to lido for a shopping spree... dear is getting his comm next monday... he worked so hard for it, so he got a polo r. laurn polo tee for his rewards.. wow, a r.lauren shirt really isn't cheap.. one polo tee alone costs S$172... but guess dear really deserve it =P

i have some istean vouchers with me (from my colleagues for my bday.. they are so sweet..) bought a jeans skirt and 2 tops... ke ke ke ke... really happy that day.. decided to bring my newly bought clothes to australia for my honeymoon...

started packing our things over the weekend too.. this is the 2nd last wkend we have... so better get started... surprising, the packing only took a day.. all thanks to me who draw up this check list.. hee hee hee.. so happy to see that most of the things are now settled... the luggage got lots of free space... planned to buy back "lots of, lots of" things...now can’t wait for 27th to come by.. =P Australia, here I come…

Ah Boy is Sick...

My poor dear is sick.... this all started from the Ba Gua left over from the Guo Da Li... Greedy dear.. can't stop eating.. plus need to talk a lot during work.. so in the end, got throat inflamation.... now dear = no voice snake.. poor dear...

Ask him to take mc on Friday but becos he's the only one supporting the team.. so he couldn't afford to take time off...

on friday when i meet him, dear is a little feverish.. took the med the doc gave and we had an early retirement.... were supposed to be out on Saturday, so dear muz reat more...

The doc that dear went to is the one at Republic Plaza, Parkway Shenton.. i concluded after dear's not getting well, that the doctor there can't make it...

when i was back at KPMG, working... i went to see the doctor there cos i got "splitting headache" (actually that's fake.. got nothing to do for 2nd half of the day, so wanna go get one mc to take time off..) a young lady doctor attended to me.. ask me wat's wrong.. told her got headache (that's one thing that the doc can't dispute... ke ke ke..)..she look at me and blunt out a question... "Are you pregnant?".. i almost filpped off my chair... that was i think 1 to 2 yrs... i'm trying to fake mc... and the doc actually asked me if i'm pregnant.. ha ha ha.. later when i told dear and mummy. they were laughing away.. such a stupid doctor..

not sure if it's the same doctor who attended to dear... he mentioned that his is also a young lady doc.. gave those common medicine.. not strong enough for dear.. in the end, dear suffered for 3 days and he revisited the doc on Sunday night..

think it's the family doctor that's still better.. hope dear get well soon...

Guo Da Li and the Aftermath

The day finally came for Guo Da Li…. Dear came with his 大姑, 堂哥 and wenqiang… they brought with them this big basket.. heard from the elderly that that one is a must… all the hard liquor and bb2 pork…

My parents and my auntie (she came over to help.. tks auntie) also prepared lots of things to give them in return.. there’s hard liquor, bottle of soft drinks.. bbq pork (must return certain quantity), butter cake, oranges…. Mummy also prepare all the pails, bucket for me.. all red in color.. Supposed to symbolize good, ever lasting marriage and 早生贵子…but dun think me & dear is ready for the second part… ke ke ke.. let nature take its course bah…

After the Guo Da Li, I did up all the packing of the things.. trying to squeeze everything into the small room that I’ll sharing with dear.. surprising I managed to squeeze everything in.. hmm, muz be my capability by nature.. dear once commented that I like daraemon.. can always squeeze and pack things from very very big to very very small…

Now left 18 days to our BIG DAY… stressed + scared + excited… really mized feeling.. but will be looking forward to it.. especially the honeymoon that follows =P

Jie Mei Gathering

Gathered for the 2nd time at Bishan Café Cartel with my jie meis and my sister (own one)… 3 jie meis not there due to work and driving lesson.. they sure miss out something..

We had lunch and some fruitful conversation.. we brain stormed all possible ideas to takan the dear.. but of course, I did try to do some damage control like things that make him dirty ie flour, ice, black ink (for calligraphy writing)… we’ll avoid…

Baoling is very professional that day.. brought paper and pen to take note.. henceforth she’s our secretary.. we took down all possible way to takan the groom.. in the end, to eliminate until left abt xxx (not supposed to tell, ke ke ke).. but dun worry, dear, it won’t be very siong… my jie mei will take gd care of you.. you are in absolutely gd hands…

After the talking, we exchanged our emails addresses… Baoling will do the liaising.. I’m sure by now, all jie meis will receive the minutes for the day =P

Dear, here’s something for you to “peek-a-doo”… ha ha ha… trying to make you itchy… so u better to be gd to me and my jie meis =P

Mummy Bday

Went Bishan on Friday night with dear, Mei Mei and hanzhong….

Collected my newly polished diamond ring.. it’s shining so brightly.. am supposed to put it in the 4 dian jin box… as part of the 4 dian jian used in Guo Da Li…. But I really missed it so much.. had not been wearing it for 3 weeks already.. but in the end, I still put it back into the box.. anyway, I’ll be able to wear it again in 2 days time (on Sunday) =P

Me and Mei Mei came up with a plan to go Bishan to buy a birthday cake for mummy… mummy’s birthday is actually Saturday but Di Di got BBQ on that day.. so we decided to celebrate it a day earlier…went to polar to buy the cake.. chose a cartoon cake, with Bugs Bunnys and Tweety Bird and Tasmania…. It’s really cute…. The Tasmania had a bloated tummy (from eating too much) and is lying on the floor….

The salesgirl thought that I was buying for some little kids and you can imagine the shock face she has when I said I wan candles for a 55 year old birthday….ke ke ke.. dear did some damage control for me.. Explained to the salesgirl that it’s not for a kid but for some adult to make them happy =P think I created quite a “scene”.. but anyway, mummy liked the lovely, sweet cake =P

While on our way to Bishan car park, discovered by chance that there is a big big pasar malam at the interchange… how can I let go of this chance.. so shopped for a while there.. ke ke ke.. bought a new pair of pearl ear-rings.. not bad… at least got something…

That night ended with us singing birthday song for mummy.. it’s her 54th bday.. you can see the grin on her face, with all of us (daddy, di di, me and dear and mei mei and hz) there with her …. Next bday to come is mei mei one… wonder what’s in store for her =P
