went to changi airport terminal, fish & co for lunch today.. yummy yummy... this is a x'mas celebration for the upcomingjoyous occassion...

6 of us (all gals) took dennis's car cos we din wanna to wait for the airport shuttle (too crowded and sometime need to wait very long).. so the 6 of us squeezed into his not very big vios... 1 in front and 5 of us behind... luckily all of us not the very fat kind.. or else dennis car's tyre will go flat.. ke ke ke.. this is the 1st x'mas celebration i had with my collegues... nice nice...

We even decorated a small little corner in our office (see pic below...) .. we contributed bit and pieces of our table display like mickey, little bears... and our designer, dennis, came up with the idea of having a foam board underneath and doing up the fence and the house using cardboard.. do you know, all of our things here are all priceless, all are either individual contribution or from recycled items.. come to think of it, we're not that bad in deco and art =P.. we're already hatching plans to decorate the office for new year for the next coming yr =P

New Furniture….

A day after we are back from our honeymoon, we started to clear our luggage and put back the clean clothes into our wardrobe (the one that mummy gave me during guo da li)… guessed wat.. the metal holding the clothes broke into 2.. so sad.. it meant that I had too much clothes…

The next day, we went to bought a wardrobe... this time a better quality one.. now all my clothes are nicely hang up in the cupboard.. of course, i muz still throw away some old ones cos really too pack.. but then again, if nothing get out, how can in get new ones =P

last sunday, 3 of the wooden planks under our bed broke into half too... yet another furniture incident.. sigh.. the side where dear is sleeping on can't seem tp hold dear's weight.. that's y the break up.. i calle dup ikea immediately and they sent in their carpenter to view the damages... told us that the wooden planks is of not gd quality.. the break area (asa joint fingers) are weak, thus they broke.. hmmmm, so it is not due to dear's gaining weight from all the eating in australia.. ha ha ha...

but this time round, we are clever already.. we're gg to do up wooden plank (one big pc one) and put it on top of the ikea planks.. double protection is better than 1... and next time for our new hse, we're not gg to get ikea bed =P

Santa is Coming To Town

Less than 1 more week to go and x’mas will be here… so excited.. cos one real x’mas that I’ll be spending with dear..

we rush off to make some last min shopping… 1st is for the CLDDs x’mas exchange program on x’mas eve… then is dear’s department x’mas exchange…

I also did some shopping for my clerks in office…

To pamper ourselves, we also rewarded ourselves with a spa session jus the weekend before x’mas… so shiok.. dear has a foot and back and shoulder massage.. I took the back and shoulder massage, topping up a body scrub.. the scrub is marvelous.. am going for a 2nd scrub soon (hopefully)…

Going to x’mas parties starting today… going out with my colleagues tonight.. it’s a colleague farewell cum x’mas party… at some restaurant at changi.. tom I also having a x’mas lunch at changi airport…. Yeah yeah.. dear x’mas dinner with his team is on Thursday night…..

On Friday, both of us are on leave.. planned to make a trip into Johor, provided that there is no rain.. haven thought of wat to do yet but since we both clearing our leaves, so might as well take it.. anyway, we’ll be having a long weekend.. all the way to Monday =P yeah..

Saturday will be s day spent at dear’s colleague hse.. gg there for a x’mas potluck… his colleague cooking his famous “???” (opps, forgotten wat is that) but if you guys remember, this colleague is the most noisy one at our wedding, other than dear’s boss… quite looking forward to this dinner… interested to see the chemistry that will result =P

On the eve, is of course left to our special grp of frenz…. Cldds.. surprisingly, most pple can turn up that wkend…so unlike last year where there is only 7 of us (incl little Jovin)… now there is another baby joining us.. little Justin… 2 babies celebrating x’mas with us.. that’ll be interested.. this festive season is filled with so much anticipation and excitement.. so looking forward the dates.. and I really like x’mas =P

Married Life

I’m getting used to married life since I came back from Australia… it’s quite tough cos totally new environment.. missed daddy, mummy, mei mei and bro a lot lot.. called home almost everyday…

Back at home, dun really need to do house chores.. mum will wash my clothes for me and I can use the washing machine.. but now had to wash all my clothes.. by hand some more.. can be quite tiring.. guess jus had to get used.. feel lonely at home too if dear is not ard… not like in the past, can talk with mei mei… and can scold di di as well.. now it’s quite a different role..

Heard and seen so much abt conflicts between the daughter in law and the mum in law and the groom’s family from frenzs and TV.. so am sort of taking the “stay away” approach… less “touches”, less friction and thus less conflicts… guess it will never be the same as your own family cos one is where you’ve been with 25yrs and the other is only so short… and the 2 families behaviors is so so different… am trying hard to get used.. but sometimes, the rejection to try will come abt if I’m down… hope dear understand =P

Wedding Night

Though the wedding is over for almost a month by now.. but there are still certain things I wanna pen down… glad that this episode is over but this will be an unforgettable night for me….

My relatives came from M’sia… all of them.. including my big uncle, who seldom came out of S’pore.. then there‘s my cousin’s boyfriend.. who showed up just 2 days before my wedding for introduction into the family… then there is my granduncle from Malacca… he doted on me a lot when I’m young… back then, even when his own niece or nephew got married, he never showed up but this time he came to attend my wedding… so happy…. There is also my uncle form my daddy side.. heard he’s another chap that never turn up for wedding one.. for my grandma (his mother in law) bday.. he also failed to show up… but this time he showed face.. my parents are very happy, looking at the amount of guests that turn up and felt relieved =P

Saw lots of my frenzs too…some whom I still had contact, but only through email and sms.. able to see them and take pic with them is great… My bosses also all turned up…. Though I only with the company for abt 10 mths but they all give face.. so I very happy =P..

Guess the most unforgettable thing that night is the “game” that dear’s colleagues played on us… asked him to drink weird things… eat drunken prawns.. roll egg around his pants.. sigh… they are really a bunch of naughty colleagues.. but again, wat fun are there if there isn’t these kind of pple ard, right… now the wedding is finally over.. the photos are already out.. am jus waiting for the video.. can’t wait to see them….

Last Day of Single-Hood

It had been quite a while since I pen something down onto my blog… got so much to write & to share with u but simply no time to do so….

I guess one thing at a time bah…

Spent my last day of single-hood in Quality Hotel.. and with me are all my 姐妹… really appreciate… LinLing and Baoling came early to accompany me at the Hotel.. and of course not forgetting the little Jovin.. she’s so excited abt the big space that she had that she kept walking up & down the living room, occasionally peeping through the corridor and the bedroom.. she’s real curious abt almost everything…

My 4 buddies came much later, almost close to midnight….. Peiling, Peijuan, Guixia and Yingqi… but that din really bother me too much… these 4 gals, being my best buddies spent the night with me at Quality Hotel, well prepared for the war the next day to get BIG ANG PAO…..

Missed these type of gals night out session…. Had a great talk while the 5 of us squeezed into a king sized bed… dun ask how we did that.. but we managed to do it.. all 5 of us… luckily we are not very very fat.. or else where got place to sleep…

while lying in bed, we talked abt olden sch days… where which guys had an interest in which gals… which gals took a secret interest in which guys… come to think of it.. it’s kinda “cute” to start with.. kids are after all kids… that’s was more than 10 yrs ago…all of us are now 25.. 12 years ago at 13th yrs old, we just knew each other in our new sec 1 classes.. really something memorable to think abt.. of course, that night we also had the “DJ” night.. the gals are all out to get me, keep asking me questions abt me & dear… next time it’ll be either xia xia’s turn or ah ling’s one… one already rom and the other abt to rom soon…

really appreciate the grp of frenzs that I had.. the long term friendship will always be treasured =P

From Singapore, with love

Hi hi.. we are back in Singapore.. HOME SWEET HOME... (though i miss my honeymoon in australia)...

now it's slightly before 6am.. we're at S'pore Changi Airport now.. having a mini breakfast and waiting for the clock to strike 6 before we go grab a cab home...

tiring flight.. took the one at after midnight at Melbourne local time.. arrived at abt 5am in S'pore.. now a little not used to the timing...

but it's great to be at home... closed to all of your families and frenzs.. can't wait to go home to unpack and look at my pdts of the shopping spree i had... pple ard us told us that there's nothing to buy in australia.. but ke ke ke... we came back with 2 heavy luggages, weighing a total of 39.999 kg (by the way, our combined limit is 40kg).. lucky we, to just hit the mark..

will update readers more the next time i logged in =P

oh, it's after 6 now.. gonna to be on our way home now =P... guess you guys muz still be in dreamlands.. sweet dreams before you guys wake up to go to work.. muck...

From Australia, with love...

phew...finally our wedding is over.. now the 2 of us are happily away, enjoying our honeymoon in Melbourne... sadly though, tonight is our last night in melbourne.. gonna have to fly back to S'pore tom night... will definitely miss australia.. the food, the climate, the friendly pple, and the cute penguins (for me).. and the spectacular views + the great wines (for dear)...

we are currently accessing the internet from our hotel and decided to pen something down on our blog from australia.. ke ke ke... hardly have dear by my side when i'm writing something onto the blog (cos i always tend to do that in office).... so this is really a rare opportunity...but as usual.. his is only a few liners, not like me.. so "lor soh"..

Cool weather, great food, smiley faces, the pages of discoveries keep turning...... that's what i'm bidding adious amigos to by tomorrow night.... i'm almost blown away and i'm even slanting towards the slang here to make myself understood.... ha ha...

From Me :
i like the weather here, though it can be somewhat cold (due to the wind chill factor).. the pple are nice too (but got lots of "tiong" here)....i enjoyed the "spectaculars" here too.. especially the cute little penguins who are like babies in pampers, trying to learn how to walk.. ke ke ke... the only thing unbearable is the "get to know you tactics" the australian here are using...only onw word can describe it... UNBELIEVABLE.....

we took lots & lots of pics here.. barely 10 days and think we got more than 400 pics.. think we have gotta lots of things to do back home, like arranging our photos and doing up our albums.. not to worry, pals.... i'm sure my dear will contribute to the fullest and do a gd job with me.. do look forward to our albums (i'm sure there'll be more than 1 book, ke ke ke) =P
