Dating Couple vs Our Dating Days…

During our dinner at Vi’lage, there was this young couple sitting behind us while we dine at Vi’lage… the 1st thing that caught my eyes was this girl (very young looking) sitting at the desk alone. There is this big bouquet of roses beside her, on the table.. I was thinking muz be her bday or what, and the roses muz be gift from her boyfriend… I actually made dear looked that the roses.. there are actually 24 of them.. wow wow, the guy muz be rich (if not muz have save quite a while to buy that).. was very interested to see how the boyfriend look… so romantic to know how to give flowers, so muz be quite “not bad looking”….

While waiting for the boyfriend to appear, I noted this guy coming in my direction.. he’s quite old looking.. wearing a grey colored, long sleeve shirt and black pants.. oh, he also got a silver color tie on his shirt.. he’s carrying a plate of food. So first impression, I thought he must be Vi’lage manager… why I think that way??? Who on earth on a Saturday night will wear like that in a restaurant (not wedding dinner or what.. yes, it’s a restaurant).. unless he’s the restaurant manager…ke ke ke..

The shock came went he sat down beside that girl with the 24 roses.. hmm, my guess of his occupation is wrong.. he’s actually the BOYFRIEND… when dear and I heard them speak, 1st thing that came to our mind is “THEY’RE SO YOUNG”….

Well, you know, the youngster trying to b e grown up.. so start wearing shirt and pants, and formal business attire on a Saturday…..

The guy even got the restaurant to prepare a small birthday for the girl.. and of course the girl commented that the guy’s gesture is “so sweet”… opps, din mean listen to the conversation but the couple talking so loudly.. and I got sensitive hearing too… so how not to hear, right…

Thought abt the very 1st time that dear celebrated my birthday for me.. it was my 19th birthday… dear came to pick me up from my hse and we were set to go east coast park.. well, no shirt, pants and tie from dear.. he came in T-shirt and those ¾ sports Bermuda… when my dad 1st saw him, my dad commented “Ermmm, how come you are dressed like this?”… ha ha ha.. well, that’s my dear and his bo-chup dressing…

When it was my 25th birthday celebration (6 yrs apart), dear and I went to took birthday make-over at Orchard.. I was wearing this brown halter neck dress and dear was in his ash-worth polo-tee and his Giordano ¾ khaki pants.. when we arrive at the studio, the girl attending to us asked “Ha, you also taking photo.. and you only wear like that?”… we smiled and dear nodded…. Inside the studio, the photographer asked dear almost the same question, “You only came in this? You got bring extra clothes anot?”… we gave another smile… I am so used to dear wearing like that, such that I thought dear looked quite well-dressed on my birthday.. but well, the outsider dun think so…

During our meet-the-sisters/brothers dinner, dear was wearing a normal polo-tee and his dark blue “billabong” (pls pardon me. dun really know how to spell it) knee length shorts….. ah xia asked dear if he owns the hotel, wearing something like that… I was giggling and giggling..

Think only I got used to dear’s “BO CHUP” dress code.. of course, i’ll exercise discretion and my authority when dear’s dressing really doesn’t fit the occasion.. but actually, dear’s dress sense not very bad.. think sometime it’s the fashion world that’s changing too fast and we are quite laid back folks… so we dun usually follow the crowd.. I guess, the most impt thing is to be happy with our current status… =P

Guo Da Li Preparation

Went out on Saturday to buy hard liquor for our Guo Da Li this coming Sunday (05/11/2006).. din know that so many things were actually needed for this chinese customs..

Bought 2 hard liquor and few boxes of cookies & brownies.. planned to give it to the secretaries of my bosses and big bosses.. inviting the bosses to my wedding dinner but becos of table no, had to miss out the secretaries.. worried that they’ll talk… so bought them Mrs Field’s cookies to appease them…. Well, u know, secretaries are gate keepers to the bosses.. so better to be safe than sorry (in short, dun “得罪” them) ….ke ke ke…

After buying the liquor, we had dinner at Vi’lage… this is a Marche “alike” restaurant.. same venue (at basement of Hereen).. same menu (got rosti, boneless chicken leg, cream of mushroom soup, waffle with banana in caramel sauce with ice-cream etc etc etc)… back then, we really liked Marche a lot… were quite upset that Marche closed down… that day when we were shopping ard the area, we found out by luck that Marche is replaced by “Vi’lage”.. so, decided to give Vi’lage a chance..

Verdict : Food is equally nice…. 3 cheers for it… ke ke ke.. think this will be our next hang-out place…

Saw these grps of youngsters at the restaurant.. they were dressed in weird costumes.. like witch costume (with the hat), baby clothes (with pacifier) .. , Indian girl (with the veil etc etc etc).. quite amused by them to dress so weirdly in public.. but dear guessed much of the reasons why they are dressed in those funny clothing… cos this coming Tuesday is Halloween Day… this day is not common in S’pore… but it’s very popular overseas.. from TV, you can see the whole street of pple in weird clothings.. next time, I muz try to spend Halloween overseas…mus get down to planning it… =P

Wedding Bed Jumper

Planned to get my 2 cousins to jump on my wedding bed… but they are away, holidaying with my uncle and auntie (cos Malaysia got long holiday break..)

In the end, engaged my colleague, KK’s 2 sons to help me with the task…on Tuesday morning, we were anticipating them.. dear and i purposely woke up at 8 am for their arrival.. sigh, sometime, this traditional things can be quite tiring too...

at abt 930am, they arrive..KK's sons are aged 1 and 3 respectively.. the elder one is very friendly.. mum-in-law lead him into our room, and upon seeing our bed, he climbed up and started jumping.. like a professional wedding bed jumper.. he did quite a couple of times before for KK's frenzs... so he's very familiar with all the procedures..

the younger one quite shy.. dun dare to step onto the bed and keep wanna mummy to carry... but after a while, he saw his older brother jumping happily on the bed, he followed suit.. adorable brothers.. but still, the younger one won't allow pple, other than his daddy and mummy to carry him.. at one pt in time, he even mistook me as mummy cos both Jo (KK's wife) and I wore 3/4 pants and the younger one is only that tall..

when they are abt to leave, the older one did something that all of us almost flipped... he put up his hands and start waving them at us when he exited.. out of his mouth came this "Halo.. Good Bye, Everybody"... oh my god, just like a small baby idol.. but i muz say his characteristic resemble KK.. so vocal and outstanding..

KK even told me that, that morning before leaving the hse... they met an auntie in the lift.. the elder one keep waving his small hands, saying Hi and Good Morning to that auntie.. that auntie din really bother him at 1st and he keep repeating until the auntie gave up and say Hi back..on another occassion, he saw this Malay man, covered with tattoo, sitting in the void deck.. he ran up to him and says "yeek" while pointing at his tatto.. KK almost flipped off.. the little boy din stop and kept asking the Malay man what are those things on his arms.. the Malay man gave up in the end and told him those are tattos... upon hearing the word tattos, the son immediately says... "my daddy also have one.. he has a big dragon on his back".. ke ke ke.. sweat fell down KK's forehead.. i saw his tattoo.. not very big lah.. the little boy went "canoning".... KK immediately went into hiding and asked the wife to pick up the little boy.. quite a vocal boy for the age of 3...

But KK's son's character is duplicate of him.. hee hee, think mine will also be duplicate of dear.. oh no, that's will leave the little boy to be very naughty, and can't sit still and bully pple in sch next time (all the above are done by dear when he's young..) that's scary.. think i dun think abt it for now... at least we enjoying our private world now... the baby woes to come later =P

Massage Massage at City Square..

Dear and I took leave on Monday.. we decided to go into Johor for our long awaited Massage…

There was completely no queue at both Singapore and Malaysia customs. We are both delighted… reach there, we went direct to the cinema… booked tickets for the show “The Prestige”.. done up by one of my favorite actor.. huge jackman…he’s so cool…

After which, we went to book our massage slots.. apparently they renovated the place.. now more atas.. of course massage pricing also went up.. but then that’s in ringgit… so we still benefited =P

We had a brunch at this place called Wang Jiao Hong Kong Café.. see, even Malaysia is into Hong Kong food… food is not that bad I muz say… but still think our Singapore Xin Wang Hong Kong Café is better.. ke ke ke…

After settling dear’s stomach, we went on a shopping spree.. I had an aim for this trip.. that’s is to buy things to do up our newly wed’s room… bought lots of cute boxes to store my things. So excited.. of course, dear almost flipped when he saw all the things I bought…

To appease dear, we went for occasion short tea break at Mac and at the Local Coffee Hse, for dear’s fav coffee session and but toast… as usual, food can do wonder, especially to my dear =P

About late afternoon, came the long awaited massage.. maybe the massager is too strong or I’m too weak.. felt much more pain than in the past while she did the massaging for me.. almost cried… dear as usual has no feeling.. he simply slept through out the massage.. lucky him…but poor me.. though it hurt during the massage, I must comment that the after effect is really shiok… never feel so alive before.. ke ke ke..

Still miss the massage after a day or two.. plan to go for 1 more massage before our wedding.. if can’t make it into johor, then we’ll settle for spa village.. our package is still there and we had not used it in Oct.. wonder wat’s the special for the month of Nov =P looking forward to that…

Tea Dress and Fathers’ Suit..

Went to our bridal shop to select my tea dress and our fathers’ suits… I choose a pink color long dress.. the back is bare with strips across it… it’s the 1st one I selected and yup.. the one I chose…

saw another pink dress too… but when I wore it, I almost flipped off.. the front is near.. plunging v-neck line.. and it’s bare back all the way down to the waist… yes.. it’s bare back all the way.. though the front is nice, think the bride muz be really daring to wear it.. it’s simply too revealing for me.. almost I dun have too much assets in front, so can’t show the advantage of a plunging v-neck line.. ha ha ha.. think my parents-in-laws also dun really like the dress cos they dn commend much.. when I told my mum later that evening on the dress, she, however asked me why I din chose that.. I almost faint… u see, my mum like revealing dress but not on herself but on her daughters… I not very daring so think I’ll leave that kind of dress sense to my sis when she get married.. ke ke ke..

my dad din have a prob in choosing his suit.. his is fast one.. dear dad have a little prob though cos all suits that fit his tummy is too long.. anyway, the length of the suit can’t be altered, so have to give and take..

Fixed all the relevant dates before the wedding already.. excited and scared… one month later (exactly one month)… it’ll be our BIG DAY… looking forward to it =P

S.S.S….. Saturday.. Shopping.. Supper..

Went Orchard to window shop… dun really have much things to buy.. sigh so unlike me.. actually the fact is that I bought quite lots of things couples of weeks before.. during my birthday.. so now dun have anything on mind to buy..

Met up with Wenqiang and Linling in Bishan after that.. Intention is to pass them the A2 portrait of baby jovin… the A2 pic turns out nice especially with Jovin so smiley in front of the camera…

Our couple frenzs also gave us a wedding present.. so sweet.. it’s a frame with two bears inside.. the bears had our name written on it..muz really thanks lin ling for the effort and the thoughts… I guess only girls know how to do this our of things…

Had a great night with baby jovin too… I was holding on to her and dear was playing the squat up and down game with her.. guess wat, dear admit defeat after only a couple of squatting.. while our active jovin keep doing the squatting up and squatting down… dear old uncle had no more energy to play with her… look who’s old.. and yet keeping claiming he’s young… ha ha ha..

Jovin got more tricks too since the last time I saw her.. now she knows how to wave at pple and be really adorable by leaning to one side and smiling at you.. it’s really cute… maybe lin ling shld capture this on video and show it to her when she’s older… she also know how to trick pple.. Pretending to give me her food but all the while never release whatever is in her hands… she really has lots of things up her sleeve.. the next time I see her will be her bday… wondering wat other tricks she still have =P looking forward to it…

Friday Night at Vivo City

Finally, I stepped into Vivo City since its opening a coupe of weeks back. Went there with my colleagues to catch Death Note…it’s was crowded man…

Golden Village
Impressed by the cinema.. the seating is like stadium seating.. so you won’t be blocked by anyone seating in front of you, irregardless how tall he is.. I kind of like that feeling cos I’m pretty short myself.. so dun like the feeling of being blocked..

There’s also lots of legs space beside the rolls.. I can do lots of things with my legs.. cross them.. stretch them and yet I won’t touch the chair in front of me.. hmm, maybe my legs are too short to touch it.. ke ke ke… the arm rest can also be lifted irregardless which roll you are sitting in.. not bad huh.. no more “only couple seats at the last roll” kind of things.. but of course, be careful not to lift up the arm rest if you have a stranger beside you =P

The cinema also has wide screens… in fact all the screens are pretty wide, despite the size of the theatre.. that’s one of the attraction… wider screen, better effect.. and you sitting anywhere in the theatre won’t luggi out…

The only thing I dun like abt the cinema is the inclination of the seats.. the seats are not like the lido one where you can do the rock front, rock back.. in fact, on top of you not able to that, the inclination is like 90 degrees.. so after abt ½ hr to 1 hr into the show, you will feel uncomfortable in the back and neck… not sure if I’ll catch any show there though since it’s pretty out of the way..

Oh, by the way, Death Note is cool.. the 2nd one coming out in Dec.. me and my colleagues agreed to catch it tog (since dear dun like jap show..) can’t wait for that… am almost finishing the comic… yo ho.. all the way man…

Shopping & Eating Outlets
The shopping areas are big.. but the crowd is not small either.. quite atas from the 1st look.. din really have a chance to shop though.. will come another time with dear..

The eateries can’t really make it.. there’s almost a long long queue everywhere there is food to be sold.. if dear either step in there now, I think he will die of starvation while waiting to get into the restaurant and while waiting to be served… ha ha ha…

Hope things will get better after a couple of months when the initial crave start to die now… think we will only visit after that.. dun wan to starve my dear now.. in fact, wanna him to look fatter on our wedding day =P

Death Note Craze…

Going to catch a movie tonight with my colleagues at Vivo City… show is the current popular Japanese comic turned movie “Death Note”….

Am reading its comic now.. got 12 books in total.. to-date had covered 8 books (starting the 1st one on Tuesday.. well my speed of reading is not bad right)…. Actually the comics is nice.. whenever I start reading, I just wanna find out what happen next.. so no choice but to continue reading it…

Here’s is how the story go..

a 天才, called 月 picked up a note book near his sch by chance… this note book is not any ordinary book but a Death Notebook… this book allows the owner (whoever found and pick up the book) to kill pple with just writing his name on the book and visualizing his looks in the head… 月 became the owner of this book and believing that he can save the world (by using the death note book ie writing down names of pple whom he want to kill)… he kill off all criminals that is known to him…

the police wanted to stop all these and thus… engaged L to track月 down.. from there, the 2 brilliant guy, 月 and L start to engage in a “game” to find out who each other is…

the comic has more to tell… like the exact usage of the book…the benefits of the book… the trade that the death of god can have with the human (owner of the book)…. I dun think I can list down all the details but do catch the comics… trust me.... u’ll be engrossed

waiting for knock of time now… can’t wait to catch the show.. and most of it, can’t wait to visit vivo city… heard the cinemas are good.. will update you after my visit tonight =P

Our New Room

Finally, our new room is done up…. Our bed, mattress and cabinets came on Saturday… dear and I had did some cleaning up and re-arranging later the day to put the things in place.. our curtains are also up.. now waiting for the babies to come by to jump onto the bed, before we lay the bedsheets…

We also hand up our portrait photos.. so happy.. both me and dear are very pleased with the photos taken…

We arranged all the albums and the DVD/VCD onto the new cabinets.. this free up the wardrobe that we had and I planned to move my clothes over bit by bit… I also laid out the shelves where I’m going to put my make up kits and facial products… ke ke ke.. it’s a big operations.. dear almost flipped off the chair when he saw that.. ke ke ke…

We also bought a new DVD player to put it, in the room.. now our room look very complete.. though small, it is very warming… got the feeling of the love nest of 2 young couples… hee hee.. test run the DVD player using La Bi Xiao Xin disc… the show is very funny =P

Din bring my camera so failed to take pics of our room.. so sad.. never mind, I’ll take it next time..

My parents came by to take a look of our new, revamped room… so happy.. I wanna them to see how my new “place” look like and that came true…… now only left with waiting for the actual day to come by and our long-awaited honeymoon =P

Sisters / Brothers Get-Together Dinner

Dear and I arranged a get-together for all brothers and sisters.. we had buffet dinner at Hotel Phoenix.. turn out was good… the sisters include my best sec sch frenzs (who go to sch from sec to all the way uni…), 2 of the cldds gals whom I’m closer to, and of course Jazz and Lindy (who are like big sisters to me..).. the brothers include dear cldds frenzs (of course, including wq.. his “The Departed” brothers etc etc) and his uni frrenzs who take turn to copy each other work and exam answers…

I’m happy to see the sisters clicking well and getting along well with one another… we were happily talking about linling’s wedding.. the “stunts” which we did on wenqiang and the brothers and of course we mentioned abt the “low grade” wasabi ice cream that the brothers commented on… I believed my sisters now are all the way going to make the brothers suffer.. of course, at times, we girls also got engaged in our little little grp talk… baoling and linling haven meet up quite some time, so the 2 are happily chit chatting… of course, we, the ZHSS gals were also engaged in our small talks abt our secondary sch gossips… our 1st crush…. Who among our sec sch frenzs got married… on and on and on… we very auntie, right.. very gossipy.. but sometimes, it is this small talks that kept our friendship going… I’m sure we’ll have more talks on the night before my wedding day cos my sisters coming to stay overnight.. and we’ll talk abt all those past events…

Hmm.. if there is ever a hen party (ah xia they all planning to arrange one for me but I not the kind who like dancing and drinking very much… so not sure if this will be a success..).. I’m sure we girls will also talk till the sun rises the next day =P

Though I not very willing to say it, but I can see the brothers clicking well too.. of course, guys of same age can’t be too difficult to click.. haven seen dear’s uni frenz, the “Mr Nice Guys”, wenqing and chris for long time (they said that hoping that I’ll introduce my frenzs to them.. ke ke ke.. come to think abt it, quite funny =P) .. that night is really a pleasant gathering..

End of the gathering, the brothers mentioned that they will help dear to get through the door and pick me up for a mere $8.80…. hmm… this agitated my sisters.. S$8.80 to get me.. pls dear, pls knock some sense into your brothers.. well, I’m sure a gd show will come by on 25/11 morning… we shall sit and wait.. GO SISTERS GO… I;m sure we are going to have a good heart to heart talk on our next meeting =P

A sense of relief...

Was counting the invitation cards last night because need to start writing on the.. got a BIG BIG shock when i discovered that there is missing wedding cards... our wedding cards are short by 50.. i got upset becos of the shortage...and began searching high and low ard the room for the extra cards.. but to avail.. dear was bathing at that time.. felt so alone...

when dear came out, i told him wat happen... he hugged me and analyse the situation for me.. hmm.. 50 cards are a too nice figure for us to miss out and misplace them.. so we concluded that we'll check with the printing shop...at the most, dear felt that we can pay them extra...

Called shirley this morning.. explained the situation to her.. she felt that the missing no is too nice figure and since we din touch the cards until yesterday, we can't possibly misplaced them.. so shirley volunteered to give us that 50 shortfall cards.. i'm so happy =P.. we can collect the cards by tom lunch.. yupee..

but i'm most happy abt the preparation and the going through of little mishaps along the way of preparation with dear .. this is the very 1st major event that dear and I had been planning.. though having mishaps along the way, disagreement.. but the working tog, comforting one another and giving each other the support... that's is so xxx... well i can't any no words to describe this happiness.. feel so fulfilling.. really treasured the times with dear and the support / love given by him.. Tks dear for everything =P

Looking forward to our BIG DAY...

HUGE, HUGE Korean Waves…

I slept at 1.30am to 2am for the last 3 nights… it is neither due to work nor is it due to our wedding matters.. ke ke ke.. it’s becos I’m HOOKED to this new Korean drama.. 宫 - 我的野蛮王妃 ...

Got into the Korean waves because of 天国的阶梯… played by my fav korean star… 诚俊哥 (that’s his name in the show.. real name is 权相宇).. he is real good looking and got built some more.. he came by s’pore some weeks ago.. to meet his fans and to be guest in “The Face Shop” opening ceremony at IMM (I think)… he’s so cute, so cheerful, so handsome and so approachable…

Not long ago, was watching another 3 Korean shows..

巴黎恋人 - talks abt 2 rich guys who is on surface uncle and nephew relationship who fell in love with the same girl (a poor girl who saves all her $$ to go schooling in Paris..) when things turned out sour between a rich girl who liked the uncle and refuse to accept the fact that the guy like the poor girl, the rich girl reveals that the 2 rich guy is actually not uncle and nephew but is actually brothers (from the same mother but different brother)…hmm, that’s how ugly things can be when love become hatred…

大长今 – talks abt old Korean kingdom politics in the kitchen.. this is abt this girl 长今 who vow to keep her promise to her mum and get into the palace to become palace maid. She went through from working in the kitchen to becoming a doctor… well, the plot is gd but too draggy.. the female lead knows pple want to harm her, yet wiling to walk into the tiger’s cave.. forget abt the politics.. me dear is only concern abt the food.. ke ke ke..

金三顺 – talks abt this plump, > 30yrs girl got hitched up with a young, rich boss… this is a comedy and is definitely worth while to watch, especially those scolding scenes between the 2 leads…

Now back to my latest favorite at the moment…. This show is really full of laughter and tears…

Introduction of the 4 main casts (my fav ones are in red =): -

信 (太子) – Leading man… the bad tempered太子 whom everyone still loves

律 (太子表哥) – 2nd leading man.. the good looking next in line for the throne who all girls like, except申彩静 / he in turn like 彩静.. also the mr nice guy initially, who later out of love do something wrong, then realized he hurting 彩静 and in the end turn good again…

申彩静(太子妃) – Leading girl.. the cute, cheerful girl who married into the palace and grew to love太子.. always got bullied by 闵晓琳

闵晓琳 – 太子 high school secret girlfriend who ditched太子 when he proposed to her.. after太子 wedding, she came back again, trying to win太子’s heart… bad girl who later realized she’s wrong and turned good....

here’s how the story goes ….. sit back and enjoy…

the king fell sick.. the 长辈 is worried that there will be chaos, so they wanted to prepare the 太子 to succeed the throne.. in order to do that, he had to get married.. so appear this this太子妃 whom the grandfather had chosen for the 太子to marry.. this is called politics marriage..

太子 already has someone he likes but when proposed, he got ditched. So he agreed to the marriages but soon found out that he began to like this太子妃.. you thought it is happy ending, right.. nope nope.. muz add in some palace politics one…

the current 皇帝’s ex-girlfriend is his sis-in-law.. when the brother (the initial皇帝) dies, the sis-in-law and the son, 律 got thrown out of the palace by the grandfather because the grandfather found out that the current 皇帝 and her used to be in love.. so the sis-in-law went away to England to live in hatred.. during the time she was away, she trained律as a太子, so that she can live to see this day when the throne was given back to律 and her.. well, u know how ugly things can be when a woman is in hatred.. there’s lots of twists and turns, in order to make the current 太子 drops his title.. and during this twists and turns, 律 became in love with 太子妃..

So another love triangle was created, on top of the palace politics.. of course, happy ending when 太子 & 太子妃 finally was in the “happily ever after” mood..

That the main bulk of the story but of course, there’s many little, little details that will makes you laugh and cry.. can’t tell the whole story here so you have to watch it urself.. got dear to buy me the discs already.. and also a DVD player in our room… ke ke ke.. I’m gg to make dear watch it with me for a 2nd time =P

Sleepy Sunday…

The night before, dear and I had a flu tablet each.. kept having irritable nose.. think maybe due to the haze.. in any case, we stayed in on Sunday.. cos both of us feel tired from the medication and not wanting to go anywhere…

Though we stayed in, we did quite a few things.. dear ironed his shirts by himself.. BRAVO… I cleared up dear’s last cupboard.. found some files that belonged to dear.. it had his primary school test and exam papers in there…can you imagine.. 1986 test papers.. all the papers already turned yellowish already…anyway, I asked dear to throw all those away cos they’re taking up space.. in the end, we only kept one file cos got dear’s memories in there.. the rest all in the rubbish chute =P quite satisfied with the clearing up…. Can image all my things in dear’s room =P (ke ke ke but in my imagination, got no room for his things, ha ha ha)

Later the night, we went out for a drive and some supper.. dear took the Monday morning off,so we can afford to stay out later the night.. we tried the prata at chomp chomp.. not bad.. the teh terik was very nice… after supper, we went to visit our new hse… to date, the flat is already 9 storey tall… so happy.. Went to visit the BTO flats behind ours.. Those are ready and we can see lights coming out from some flats.. think there is already residents in it…I muz comment that the ready BTO are really nice… very beautifully done up.. so looking forward to ours =P

We had a special link up with our gd couple frenzs, lin ling & wenqiang on Saturday night.. they came over to dear’s place to see our wedding photos (cos the album are too big to bring out).. the best part is they bought little baby jovin along…

Jovin liked our room a lot cos I think got 2 big mattress on the floor for her to crawl around and flip here, flip there.. when wq & ll are seeing the photos, there are so many occasion that jovin attempted to climb on top of the album.. guess she also wan her share of viewing too.. wq had a can of coke during the visit and jovin actually attempted to drink an up-opened can of coke the same way as her father.. she was so busy playing with that can of coke that we, adults were laughing heartily away.. guess that may be one gd way to keep her entertained in the future..

Mum-in-law was so happy with Jovin around.. guess it had been too long since there’s baby around in dear’s household.. for father-in-law side, dear is considered one of the youngest in his family.. of course the youngest in his batch is still xiboon (dear’s sis).. in the next generation, there’s one boy (guoxuan) but he’s also too big to be treated like a baby anymore.. already own a hd phone, so how small can he be…

Mum-in-law side also dun really have anymore babies.. the one that we frequently see is probably Jason but I dun think u ever want to consider him baby.. already schooling, so think we can leave him out of the baby category…

If you talked abt babies… my side is full of them…. And they are all from my batch.. for my mother side, I’m actually the 3rd oldest one… following behind are many young cousins like kexin (a dragon baby girl).. yongjie (a rabbit baby boy).. both are schooling (pri 1) by next year… then there is enqi and siqi (the 2 baby girls from my smallest uncle).. siqi is at most just 1 yr plus… there is also zhijie from my fifth uncle (he’s a dog baby.. I think…) anyway, my side is full of babies.. come to think of it, it’s quite scary.. when all babies gathered under one roof… at that time, I dun think u wan anymore babies…

Planning to bring yongjie and zhijie to dear’s hse after the bed comes… for them to jump on the bed… my mum-in-law will be happy again when she sees more babies… ke ke ke… dun think we’ll be adding to the baby list in a couple of years though .. me and dear planned to spend some 二人世界 1st,do some far traveling and of course, wait for our love nest to be ready… then considered having kids of our own.. anyway, the 2 of us like babies like that.. how to be parents yet… wait till we matured further and our financial stability becomes stronger =P

The night ended with supper at Xin Wang Hong Kong Café.. look like this become our fav hand out place already… =P

KTV Relay…

Went for another KTV session on Saturday afternoon… this time round is with my ex-colleagues from KPMG.. they are celebrating my bday and another fren bday.. though both of our bday are long overdue.. mine is on 3rd and hers is on 24th.. but then it’s the thoughts and efforts that counts.. so 3 cheers for them as well..

Had a K-Lunch session… we ate while we sung.. but most of the time, we were busy chit-chatting.. the one who sung the most is LWP.. cos we having our own girl’s talk.. so he can only sing in one lonely corner.. ke ke ke..

My frenzs bought me bday present too.. yeah.. it’s isetan vouchers.. now that gives me all the more reason to shop.. and dear had no excuses this time…

Went off early for that session cos had to rush home to meet my cousins.. they are out from M’sia for a visit… they’re going back home in late evening so had to catch them before they go off… =P

Like being with my cousins especially kexin who is so adorable.. dear likes her a lot too cos she’s one happy baby who always make dear smiles =P looking forward to more such visits from them..
This time rd is a bit rush.. I hope to spend more time with them for their next visit… =P

Ladies KTV Night

Friday night is mid-autumn festival.. To celebrate this day, we girls decide to hang out after work for a nice dinner and a ktv session to mark the end of this special day =P

We had a splendid dinner at one of the restaurant at Red Dot Traffic… I had pasta.. portion is just nice (small enough for a cheesy plate of pasta)… yum yum.. and the food is not too expensive too.. but then it’s only the food that is relatively cheaper….

the place is supposed to be a pub.. there’s a large screen inside the place and the seats are either very high or very low.. as such, the drinks are much more expensive.. one coke / green tea costs S$8 bucks.. can you imagine, drinking a glass of coke that is S$8??? Well, I can’t.. so all of us had ice water instead.. no choice, dining with the ladies make us look at money more carefully… we’re not going to spend on anything extra =P

After dinner, we move on to 茶人之家 for our KTV session… as usual.. my singing can’t make it.. but my colleagues, Doreen and BJ sang well… heard that Bj even went for singing class before.. the rest of us just joined in the fun to sing along… ke ke ke.. guess singing is a form of distress for us.. we even tried all those fast and band like songs.. trying to scream our way through bah..

The night ended at exactly 12mid night for us.. dear came and picked me up for the night.. tks dear, for being Mr Ahmad Lim =P.. Dear even volunteered to send 2 of my colleagues back.. bravo for dear.. know how to score points… the night was hazy.. PSI reached 80.. Hope to quickly get home.. to prevent from inhaling too much hazardous air…

Season 2 of Boxercise

The new season of boxercise started again yesterday... time for me to sweat again..

My sis and I were slightly late for the class.. teacher already inside but haven start teaching yet.. we quickly went to our usual area.. this class is huge, i muz say.. even much bigger than the first season... but a few funny things to note..

in this season's class, there is one guy .. i was standing behind him and i was very scared that he will accidently kicked me while practising a back kick.. (of course, during the class, me and sis found him to be very clusmy.. that's y i'm scared..ke ke ke) but me and sis think that he will not turn up next week.. cos last season, during the 1st lesson, there is also 1 guy who joins but after seeing the whole classes of girls, he never ever came for subsequent lessons.. anyway, i feel that this is more a ladies classes.. guys shld frequent gyms to build up and not dancing with us...oh, and this new guy came with 2 other girls.. all 3 belonged to the bigger size group and when they start boxing, i almost flipped off the chair.. it's very comical... even the teacher see them box like that and then turn away, without commenting..

there is also this granny in the class.. 3 cheers for grandma... think she's in her 50s... but u can see her dancing + boxing along with us.. of course at most of the time she's slower, like we do 4 steps and she only manage to complete 1 but i muz applaude her spirit... everyone, pls clap..

there is also a very pretty mummy in the class.. she was in pure white gym attire and she brought her 2 sons along.. of course they din join the class officially but you can see the 2 little boys standing near the door, and following everything that the mummy and the teacher is doing.. cos their hands and legs are shorts, it make their action looking cuter... after following a while, you can see the boys panting and sitting down on the floor and shaking their head... ha ha, too tired from the exercise.. but it is an enjoyable sight to see them "work out"..

that night, dear came and pick me and sis up in our getz... when we got to the car, dear is in his sleeping position (with the seat lowered down) and enjoying his jazz alike music.. dear really know how to enjoy life =P

after we reach home, i did a home spa session for dear.. earlier the evening, i went watson to buy those spa collection bofy lotion. bought the lavendar with sea salt smell.. it is really easier to massage pple with lotion.. i did a simple one on dear's shoulder, neck, back and feet.. 1st time trying it on my own.. though not very up to standard but i think i can make it lar.. at least dear is comfortable =P

yeah.. 3 cheers for my efforts to reward dear for putting so much hard work at work as well as at the wedding =P

IKEA trip

went to ikea on sunday afternoon... it's very packed... the car queue to the car park is so long that we decided to park at the hdb carpark behind ikea..

i was very excited abt the trip cos we planned to source for our bed and cabinet at ikea.. i forced dear to get a trolley.. and i was equipped with a measuring tape, a shopping list and a pencil.. we're all GET SET, READY, GO one.. sound funny... ke ke ke

browse through lots of showrooms.. not really useful at this pt cos our new hse not here yet.. tentatively can only play with our little room.. never mind, the new hse will come soon. i'm waiting =P

went through every little corner of ikea and dear selected a nice bed... i dun know how to describe it but dear and i sort of loved it at 1st sight... chose a medium brown bed frame.. only selected a matching bedside table.. this table will be for the wedding lamps.. and our alarm clock.. will make dear sleep beside the table so that he'll be the one answering the alarm clock and not me.. ke ke ke..

we also decided to change dear's room tv cabinet.. i wanna a set of furnishing that is matching.. so i decided to get 2 cabinets to put side by side at the corner of the room to place the tv... not sure if this can be a display cabinet cos there's no glass door to it but i'll have my way to make it into one.. ha ha ha..

the trip to ikea is fruitful... bought all the things that we need for furnishing the room.. 3 cheers for IKEA... now only waiting for the delivery in mid oct.. after the delivery of the bed.. poor dear has only 1 little corner to sleep in...

we ended the day by having dinner at kovan.. not heartland mall but along the streets where punggol nasi lemak is.. our fav dim sum shop closed down.. replaced bt a prata shop.. so sad.. dear and i had curry rice and side dishes.. back to the old days where i'm still at kpmg and we had no cars.. dear and i would always meet each other (cos both working late) to go home or somewhere near home for dinner.. missed the gd old days.. that's why we are revisiting the places again..=P
the food is nice, so i'm sure dear will request to go back there again =P... cos he piggy mah.. ke ke ke

Saturday Shopping

After collecting our photos, dear and i went on a shopping spree in bugis and at metro... bought 2 dresses cos i got 20% for my birthday month... got a cardigan too.. that one is not entitled to dis/c cos already promo price..

dear oso not bad, benefitted from my brithday dis/c voucher.. he bought a tie (replacing the one that he had previously cos the old one got soup stain on it..) and a daniel hxxx shirt (ke ke ke, forgotten the name but quite branded one lar) one polo shirt of his costed already > S$50... atas pple like him is like that one (hee hee hee)

i also bought a small cute dustbin from watson.. will be putting it at dear place.. will be using it to contain my cotton wool etc etc (all my beauty items ar.. u know gals lar..ke ke ke)

now, i'm getting the things into dear's room one by one... i think soon, u'll find no more trace of dear's things in the room.. it'll be full of my things.. ha ha ha...

Wedding Photo Album =P

YEAH... we finally got our wedding photos....

went on sat to pick up our things from the bridal shop... our wedding potrait come bigger than wat we expect.. very satisfied with it.. it's a 3 in 1 portrait.. decided to opt for something against the norm, so chose a 3 in 1 pic over a one sq portrait...

on that day, we also collected our wedding album.. very heavy i muz say,cos we selected too many pics... no choice, we decided to go a specific design and that design requires more pics to make into an album.. so we ended up with a thick and heavy album.. but i can assured you that it's money well spent.. dear was very satisfied at the album too.. feel that we had selected the correct bridal shop..

collected our mini album too... very nicely done up too... oh yes, there is also the table top.. already had idea where to place it.. either gg to reside on my bedside table or the cabinet where the tv are... had the normal 36 pcs photos for distribution too... we also collected our guest book... it's a very classy one, with the pics of our bears on it.. so happy... can save on buying one guest bk.. if i dun have one, i'll surely go buy the precious moment one.. dear muz be sweating now upon hearing this.. ha ha ha...

so happy to see the end results of our decision made =P

Last Working Day in Septmber

it was the last working day in sept.. it was also dear's last working day for his 3rd quarter (ke ke ke.. last day to earn his commission..) very happy for this day to come.. cos after this quarter end, dear will be a happy man, concentrating on our wedding plans and ejoying life to the fullest ..

To put an significant end to this day, dear and i went for another quick spa session at spa village. wen for the hald an hr destress shoulder and back massage.. only 1 word can describe.. shiok.. again, i was to undressed.. this time only the top.. the massager did my back, shoulder and neck.. though ony 1/2 hr, i almost nodded off until she called me.. it was too short a massage, we feel.. but no worries, dear and i will be coming back for more cos we has a village package with them.. planned to go for another massage and a couple steam bath in early weeks of oct, then proceed to our fav thai massage in city sq (johor) end of oct.. planning to take a short break before nov comes.. quality of life muz come 1st =P

after the massage, dear and i went to orchard.. cos there are midnight shopping at ck tangs.. midnight shopping started 2 months back, in jul.. planned to come in jul, but dear went for his bintan trip.. the 2nd time, we were caught up with something dun really rem wat).. and this time is the 3rd time.. so determined to make things come true...though end up not buying anything.. sigh, wat a waste =(

we ended the night with a cuppa at Mc Cafe.. nice, cooling weather, sipping our drink away.. wat a romantic way to end a Friday night =P hope we can come out more often on Fri night. make our wkend look longer too =P
